Eighties Jams!
So, I was yet again indulging my StumbleUpon addiction, and I came across this little internet gem. Eightiesjams.com is full of, not surprisingly, full of popular songs from the 80's. It's really interesting to watch these "oldies" and compare them to popular videos of today. Why do we consider these things weird today, when twenty years ago they were the talk of the town, if you will.

Because they are "weird," or at least silly. I mean Flock of Seagulls? That hair can not be taken seriously. If you don't believe me or know what I'm talking about take a look at these.
The Flock of Seagulls video totally reminded me of the flashback in an episode of Friends where Chandler sports that 'do...
Eric - did you post something about StumbleUpon before, then delete it? I thought I read it here, then went back to read it and it was gone. Anyway, it's such a cool site. Allowing people to expand their rut, exposing themselves to new and interesting things on the net. ;-)
This is probably my favorite.
Thats great. Funnily enough, I have sun glasses just like those. I really enjoy the music and videos. Its a fun contrast to today, and funny to see how some things have come back.
Absolutely awesome! I want to make a badass 80's mixtape now using these songs! Some of them are great but some of them wow, should be left in eighties oblivion. Eric's pick in his comment is priceless!
